CFUW Charitable Trust Webinar

MY JOURNEY AS A NEUROSCIENTIST

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2020

1:30 pm –2:15 pm EST

Diane won the CFUW Dr. Alice E. Wilson Award almost 20 years ago. At the time, she realized she loved going into the research lab everyday in order to understand more about the brain.  This presentation takes you through her journey, the ups and downs, from her days in graduate school days at Dalhousie University to becoming a Professor at the University of Ottawa.  She will share her passion and research findings in regenerative medicine and stroke recovery, as well as the synergies she finds within her career and family.

The Charitable Trust – supporting post-graduate education for women graduates.

We lost an opportunity to meet in-person this year at the CT breakfast meeting, an annual fundraiser event held during the CFUW AGM. The COVID-19 pandemic shutdown forced the cancellation of the in-person CFUW AGM in Ottawa, resulting in webcasts held this summer.

Our webinar is a place where CFUW members and guests will learn more about regenerative medicine and stroke recovery.  The webinar is free; however, the Trust is grateful to receive donations any time.  Here is How to Donate.
