Honours those for whom the CFUW Charitable Trust receives memorial donations. At the time of application, the candidate must be enrolled in masters studies in science, mathematics or engineering. This fellowship is tenable in Canada or abroad.

Sabrina’s project focuses on the biological control of the varroa mite, a devastating parasite affecting domestic honeybees. Varroa is recognized for its role in the major decline of the honeybee population around the world. Sabrina’s work aims to develop more effective pest control strategies that would be safer for bee colonies and consumers, while also respecting the environment.
